• Identity and Identity.email permissions: Used for Pro license management to bind licenses to Google accounts and enable use across multiple devices.
• Tabs permission: Used to detect appropriate YouTube tabs and manage the upgrade/checkout process.
• Notifications permission: Used to provide feedback about license activation, purchases, and important updates.

2.2 YouTube Video Data

When you save a timestamp, we collect:

• Video title
• Video URL
• Channel name and URL
• Timestamp position (time in seconds)
• Notes you add to timestamps (Pro version)

This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you use the Pro version with multi-device sync enabled.

2.3 Pro Version User Data

If you upgrade to the Pro version, we collect additional information to manage your subscription:

• Contact Information: Email address (from your Google account or provided directly).
• Profile Information: A unique profile ID generated from your Google account or device.

5.1 Stripe

We use Stripe for payment processing and subscription management. When you make a purchase:

• We receive limited information from Stripe to manage your subscription, such as subscription status, last four digits of your card, and expiration date
• Stripe provides us with the necessary tools to issue refunds and manage billing issues if needed

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Data Access and Control

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can access your saved timestamps and notes directly through the Extension interface.
• Correction: You can edit or delete individual timestamps and notes at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete all saved timestamps using the "Clear All" button in the Extension.
• Export: Contact us if you wish to export all your saved data in a machine-readable format.

6.2 Pro Subscription Management

If you have a Pro subscription, you can:

• View and update your subscription details through the customer portal accessible via the "Manage Account" button
• Cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal or by contacting us
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our support email

6.3 Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Free version: All data is stored locally on your device and retained until you delete it or uninstall the Extension.
• Pro version: We retain your license information and account details for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after cancellation or expiration to facilitate renewals and provide support.
• Payment records: We retain payment records as required by financial regulations, typically for 7 years.

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13, or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
